We Learnt How to be Designers!

Term 3 Week 6 : Artistic Expressions First of all, we excitedly started our week by going on a fieldtrip in Nong Sam Rong district on Monday. All of us had a great fun doing the first shopping trip. We got many interesting and useful clothes from there to start our fashion projects for this unit of inquiry. Then on the next day, we carefully began to restyle our clothes into new attractive ones by cutting and sewing them. We really enjoyed doing this activity. Here are some pictures: These fabulous clothes are going to be used for our end of year show. Please come and see us that day! We also have more camp photos from last week. Please give us some feedbacks. Thank you

Camp

Wow, camp came and went so quickly! We spent weeks counting down to it and now it's over. As we promised, the teachers have kept a good collection of photographs. Here is just a quick selection of ten. We'll share more next week.

Last Week for This Unit of Inquiry

Term 3 Week 4 We have eventually come to the last week of our unit of inquiry. In our garden, we had some visitors from other classes coming to see our experiment. We excitedly enjoyed telling them what we had done for three weeks. We successfully finished our unit by seeing the plants finally grew and were ready to be eaten! Please come and see what we planted in our lovely scientific garden. We also attended Try Something New assembly. We learnt Thai boxing from our special guests. They came to the school to teach us how to protect ourselves. Please DO NOT try this at home unless you are with Thai boxing teachers. Finally, we made some delicious Thai food with our fabulous Thai teachers. We learnt how to cook by ourselves! We had quite a great time together this week. Enjoy your half term break. See you again on next Wednesday!

We Are Scientists!

We Are Scientists! Term 3 Week 3 This fabulous week, we have been working on our scientific garden next to the canteen. Our first week of gardening projects has been extraordinarily awesome. We have patiently planted some interesting vegetables and beautiful flowers. This ecstatic week of our experiment has gone terrifically successful. Here are some photos of us. We have done some experiments for examples: 1. What kind of soil is the best for Morning Glory? 2. Which kind roof is the best for our Sunflower Sprouts? 3. Which amount of baking soda is the best for growing tomatoes? 4. Which water system is the best when we are not at school? Next week, we will continue working on our scientific projects and the normal gardening as well. We are thrilled for the up coming week to see how our garden goes. Please leave some comments for us. Thank you!
