Term 1 Week 9

 

We hope everyone will have a calm and relaxing half term break. Whether staying in Udon or traveling do remember to stay safe. We hope that everyone will return to school face to face after half term.

ผมหวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่าทุกท่านจะมีช่วงพักที่สงบ. ไม่ว่าจะพักอยู่ในอุดรธานีหรือเดินทางไปต่างจังหวัด ผมหวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่าทุกคนจะกลับมาพบกันที่โรงเรียนอีกครั้งหลังจากช่วงพัก.

We packed bags for a weekend break in a hotel. We remembered many important things but most of us forgot at least  one thing. 

นักเรียนจัดกระเป๋าเพื่อเข้าพักในโรงเเรม. เรามีของจำเป็นที่นำติดตัวมาด้วยหลายอย่างแต่ทุกคนต่างก็มีอย่างน้อยหนึ่งสิ่งที่ลืมนำไป.

We have begun our preparations for our Year 5/6 Primary Years Programme Exhibition (PYPX). We have created a display outside the classroom which will chart our progress. We have worked out our groups, mentors our central idea. We will share more information with you after the half term break. 

นักเรียนได้เริ่มเตรียมการสำหรับโครงงานชั้นประถมเยียร์ 5/6 (PYPX). ครูได้จัดบอร์ดความรู้เกี่ยวกับกิจกรรมนี้ที่ด้านนอกชั้นเรียนเพื่อให้ทุกคนได้เห็นกระบวนการดำเนินโครงการ. นักเรียนได้แบ่งกลุ่ม หาครูที่ปรึกษา. และเราจะแบ่งปันความคืบหน้ากับผู้ปกครองทุกท่านเมื่อกลับมาพบกันอีกครึ่งหลังพักครึ่งภาคเรียน.

In Maths, we have begun learning about 2D shapes and theit properties and extending our understanding to include heptagons, nonegons, angles, the different kinds of triangles, and terms such as parallel and perpendicular and we will continue this theme when we return to school. 

ในวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ นักเรียนเริ่มเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับรูปร่าง 2 มิติและคุณสมบัติของรูปร่าง และขยายความเข้าใจของเราให้ครอบคลุมถึงรูปหกเหลี่ยม ไม่มีเหลี่ยม มุม สามเหลี่ยม มุม และคำประเภทต่างๆ เช่น ขนาน ตั้งฉาก และเราจะพูดถึงหัวข้อนี้ต่อไปเมื่อเรากลับมาที่โรงเรียนหลังพักครึ่งภาคเรียน.

We are learning about the differences between a migrant and a refugee. We began by finding out about a child from Eritrea.

We presented our factsheets about International Celebrations. Children then peer and self assessed how they did. 

นักเรียนนำเสนอเอกสารข้อเท็จจริงเกี่ยวกับการเฉลิมฉลองรอบโลก. หลังจากนั้นนักเรียนต้องประเมินเพื่อนร่วมชั้นและตนเองว่าได้อะไรบ้างหลังจากทำกิจกรรม.

Halloween at UDIS/งานฮาโลวีนที่โรงเรียน

This year we will be starting a new tradition. A whole school Halloween theme for all to participate in.

ปีนี้เราจะเริ่มประเพณีใหม่ เป็นธีมฮาโลวีนสำหรับทั้งโรงเรียนเพื่อให้ทุกคนได้มีส่วนร่วม

This year's theme is house team colour costumes/dress up. Everyone would dress up in the item that represents your house colour. For example, if you are on the red team you could be a red strawberry,  red pencil, red roses, red paperclip, red water bottle, red car, red leaf, red bus. If you are on the black team you could be a black bear, black car, black hole, black rock, black cat. I think you get the idea.

ธีมสำหรับปีนี้คือการแต่งชุดต่างๆ ตามสีประจำทีม ทุกคนจะแต่งตัวตามสิ่งต่างๆ ที่เป็นสัญลักษณ์ของสีประจำทีมของตนเอง เช่น หากนักเรียนอยู่ทีมสีแดง สามารถแต่งตัวเป็นสตรอว์เบอร์รีสีแดง ดินสอสีแดง กุหลาบแดง ลวดเสียบกระดาษสีแดง ขวดน้ำสีแดง รถยนต์สีแดง ใบไม้สีแดง รถบัสสีแดง หากนักเรียนอยู่สีดำ สามารถแต่งตัวเป็นหมีสีดำ รถยนต์สีดำ หลุมดำ ก้อนหินสีดำ แมวดำ 

House Teams colours are: blue, red, green, yellow and black / สีประจำทีมต่างๆ ของโรงเรียนประกอบด้วย สีฟ้า แดง เขียว เหลือง และดำ

Be creative, have fun. Costumes can be made or bought and to be worn on Friday 29 October./ ขอให้สนุกกับการใช้ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ เครื่องแต่งกายสามารถทำขึ้นเองหรือซื้อได้เช่นกัน และให้สวมมาโรงเรียนในวันศุกร์ ที่ 29 ตุลาคม

We would like for all to participate in this but it is optional for the dress up both for staff and learners. One rule for this, no horror costumes. We don't want to scare anyone. 

โรงเรียนอยากให้ทุกคนได้มีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมนี้ แต่ทั้งนี้ถือเป็นทางเลือกสำหรับทั้งพนักงานและนักเรียนที่จะแต่งกายตามธีมหรือไม่ กฎข้อเดียวสำหรับงานนี้คือห้ามแต่งชุดสยองขวัญ เราไม่ต้องการให้ทำให้ตกใจกลัว.
