OUR FIRST WEEK AS YEAR 6

We Are Year Six




Welcome to Year 6. Here is our first photograph together. Why were we all smiling so much that day?
Well, there are so many reasons. Firstly, we were glad to welcome Moriah, our new classmate from Idaho. We're looking forward to getting to know her more and finding out about where she has come from.  Secondly, we realise that we are fortunate enough to have a large classroom with a beautiful view over green fields. Another reason for the smiles is that we also had the opportunity to arrange the room as we wanted it. A third reason is this: -

Term 3 Wb 13th June

We have now reached the end of our school year and survived the challenges of Covid19 restrictions and online learning. It was really great to return to face to face learning on campus. For our final blog, we have asked the children to choose one photograph from this year that they feel is memorable. Year 6 Term 2 Week 9 Blog

English This week in English class the students have learned about John Muir a famous author from North America who worked to save the forests of the world. The students created, mind maps, and wrote a reflection about what they have learned about John Muir. Also the students worked on the writing process based on picture prompts. The students were able to read their essays and share them with the class. For next week the students will be working on building their grammar and using more advance vocabulary within their writing.       UOI  In UOI class the students are continuing to work on their Unit 4 projects. The students are now working on creating e-books and documenting their research findings into their e-books.
