Student success: Knowing how to spell
ความสำเร็จของนักเรียน: รู้วิธีสะกดคำศัพท์


Y5/6 uses learner agency to learn spelling where each child has an individual spelling list of frequently used words.They can choose the order in which they learn the words on their list and are tested to make sure they are spelling them correctly.The lists change as time progresses and some children choose the easier words first, while others choose the more challenging ones. All words must be learned before they move on to a new wordlist.

นักเรียนของเยียร์ 5/6 เรียนสะกดคำโดยมีใบงานคำศัทพ์ที่ใช้บ่อยให้. โดยนักเรียนสามารถเลือกคำที่ต้องการสะกดจากรายการคำศัพท์ที่ได้รับไปและทำการทดสอบท่องจำคำศัพท์ให้ถูกต้อง. ใบงานคำศัพท์จะเปลี่ยนไปตามพัฒนาการของนักเรียนและนักเรียนบางคนอาจจะเลือกท่องจำจากคำศัพท์ที่ง่ายกว่าก่อน, ขณะที่นักเรียนบางคนอาจเลือกคำที่มีความยากมากขึ้น.และนักเรียนแต่ละคนต้องจำคำศัพท์ให้ได้ทั้งหมดก่อนที่จะได้รับใบงานคำศัพท์ใบต่อไป.

In Maths, we have been concentrating on measuring angles using a protractor and working out the interior angles within a 2D shape.

ในวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ เราได้มุ่งเน้นที่การวัดมุมโดยใช้ไม้โปรแทรกเตอร์และหามุมภายในของรูปร่าง 2 มิติ.


We are learning about performance poetry. Here the children are browsing through a variety of poems to choose which ones they would like to work on.

เรากำลังเรียนการอ่านบทกลอน. รูปนี้นักเรียนกำลังอ่านบทกลอนต่างๆเพื่อเลือกว่าบทใดที่นักเรียนจะนำมาอ่านแสดงอารมณ์




In Science. we have been learning about the lifecycles of living things. The children read factsheets, had to keep the information in their head and then returned to their seats to create their own chart. They needed to understand the text and were unable to copy directly from the factsheet.

ในวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์. นักเรียนได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับวัฏจักรชีวิตของสิ่งมีชีวิต. นักเรียนอ่านเอกสารข้อมูล, จดจำข้อมูลไว้และจากนั้นก็กลับไปที่นั่งของพวกเขาเพื่อเขียนสิ่งที่จดจำมาลงไปในเอกสารของตนเอง.  โดยนักเรียนต้องเข้าใจข้อความที่คัดลอกและสามารถเขียนข้อมูลจากเอกสารข้อมูลบนกระดานลงบนใบงานของพวกเขาเอง.




Next Wednesday is our UDIS Science Day and it will be an exciting day full of practical activities.Y5/6 will have 3 main activities. Here are a few hints...
  • A construction activity building a special project with limited materials.
  • Keeping cool.... using thermometers to measure and creating a fair test
  • The great Egg Race Finding a way to protect a raw egg when dropped from a height of 2 metres.
วันพุธหน้าเป็นวันวิทยาศาสตร์ที่โรงเรียนจัดขึ้น จะเป็นวันที่น่าตื่นเต้นและเต็มไปด้วยกิจกรรมให้นักเรียนได้ลงมือปฏิบัติ.
Y5/6 จะมี 3 กิจกรรมหลัก และนี่คือคำแนะนำเล็กน้อย ..
  • กิจกรรมก่อสร้างโดยให้นักเรียนสร้างอาคารพิเศษด้วยวัสดุจำนวนจำกัด.
  • เก็บความเย็น.... โดยใช้ที่วักอุณหภูมิวัดและสร้างการทดลอง.
  • การแข่งปกป้องไข่สุกเพื่อหาทางป้องกันการแตกของไข่เมื่อต้อง ตกจากที่สูงกว่า 2 เมตร.

We have now reached the end of our school year and survived the challenges of Covid19 restrictions and online learning. It was really great to return to face to face learning on campus. Term 3 Wb 17th May

This week we all had our photographs taken. สัปดาห์นี้เรา ได้ถ่ายภาพนักเรียน ทุกคน We have been saying a final thank you to our PYPX mentors Ms Phibz, Ms Marie and Mr Kane. เราพูดขอบคุณเป็นครั้งสุดท้ายต่อครูที่ปรึกษาของนิทรรศการจบการศึกษาชั้นประถมซึ่งได้แก่ มิสฟิบส์, มิสมารีย์และมิสเตอร์เคน   Congratulations to Nadech for completing our Tables Challenge ขอแสดงความยินดีกับณเดชน์ที่ท่องแม่สูตรคูณสำเร็จครบ 12 แม่. Our assembly was led by the Student Council and we played some mini games.. กิจกรรมชุมนุมถูกจัดขึ้นโดยนักเรียนจากสภานักเรียนและเราเล่นเกมส์เล็กๆด้วยกัน              We have commenced our preparations for this event. Term 3 Wb 6th June

Our Journey. We are now approaching the final week of our school year. Last week, children shared their learning with you in our 'Journey Through the Eyes of a Child Event.' กิจกรรม การเดินทาง ตอนนี้เราเดินทางมาถึงสัปดาห์สุดท้ายของปีการศึกษานี้ สัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา เด็กๆ แบ่งปันประสบการณืเรียนรู้กับผู้ปกครองในกิจกรรม "การเดินทางผ่านสายตาของผู้เรียน" Assembly This week we held a House Assembly, The children participated in a range of activities.
