This year, instead of choosing one country to study we will be following a theme. We will learn about  Breakfast around the world. The children will be engaged in cooking some breakfast  foods themselves .

ปีนี้ แทนการเลือกแค่หนึ่งประเทศเพื่อศึกษา เราดำเนินการตามธีม เราจะศึกษาเกี่ยวกับอาหารเช้าจากรอบโลก. นักเรียนจะได้ร่วมการทำอาหารเช้าด้วยตัวเอง.

Area and Perimeter / การหาพื้นที่และเส้นขอบ


We have been learning about area and perimeter and have been making shapes, drawing them accurately and measuring their dimensions. Initially, we used actual size shapes, but we are now beginning to use diagrams which are not to scale. Everyone has measured squares and rectangles and some irregular shapes. Now we will calculate area and perimeter from diagrams and learn how to calulate the area of a triangle.

เราเรียนเรื่องการหาพิ้นที่และขอบเขตและได้สร้างรูปร่าง วาดและวัดอย่างแม่นยำ.ครั้งแรกเราวัดจากขนาดจริง แต่ตอนนี้เราเริ่มใช้แผนภูมิภาพซึ่งไม่ได้ปรับขนาด. นักเรียนทุกคนได้วัดสี่เหลี่ยมและสี่เหลี่ยมผืนผ้าและรูปร่างที่ไม่เท่ากันในบางครั้ง. ตอนนี้เราจะคำนวณพื้นที่และเส้นขอบจากแผนภูมิที่ยังไม่ปรับขนาดและทำอย่างไรจึงจะหาขนาดของรูปสามเหลี่ยมได้อย่างถูกต้อง.

Safeguarding/ความปลอดภัย
Assembly this week was about being safe and feeling comfortable. We used the word PANTS to help us remember how to be safe and also sang a funny song to help us remember.

กิจกรรมชุมนุมของอาทิตย์นี้เกี่ยวกับความปลอดภัยและความรู้สึกผ่อนคลาย เราใช้คำว่า PANTS เพื่อให้เราจำได้ว่าควรดูแลความปลอดภัยอย่างไรและร้องเพลงเพื่อช่วยให้จำได้แม่นยำมากขึ้น.

Electricity Investigation/ไฟฟ้า



The children have been making a range of electrical circuits using cells/batteries, switches, bulbs, dimmers, buzzers etc. They will now begin to learn how to represent these circuits in diagram form using standard internationally recognised symbols.
 
เด็กๆ ได้ทำวงจรไฟฟ้าแบบต่างๆ โดยใช้เซลล์/แบตเตอรี่ สวิตช์ หลอดไฟ สวิตช์หรี่ไฟ ออด ฯลฯ ตอนนี้พวกเขาจะเริ่มเรียนรู้วิธีการแสดงวงจรเหล่านี้ในรูปแบบไดอะแกรมโดยใช้สัญลักษณ์ที่เป็นที่ยอมรับในระดับสากล

Practical Science Investigation/ การทดลองทางวิทยาศาสตร์

    


The students tested a range of materials to determine whether they were transparent, translucent or opaque. They created their own diagram to record their results and showed that they could work with a high degree of independence.

นักเรียนทดสอบวัสดุหลายประเภทเพื่อตรวจสอบว่าวัสดุโปร่งแสง โปร่งแสงบางส่วน หรือทึบแสง พวกเขาสร้างไดอะแกรมของตนเองเพื่อบันทึกผลลัพธ์และทำงานได้อย่างอิสระ.

  • Six children need to work on completing their Multiplication challenge
  • Go to Get Epic and browse the collection called Breakfast which has been shared with you. Remember Get Epic is free until 5 pm This is some preview reading for International Week.
  • Complete the handwriting "Believing"
  • Think about what you will put on the T shirt you will make representing yourself

  • เข้าเว็บไซต์ Get Epic และใช้หมวดหมู่ที่ชื่อ อาหารเช้า ที่ครูแชร์ให้ แต่เว็บไซต์นี้จะใช้ได้ฟรีจนถึง 5 โมงเย็นเท่านั้นเพื่อเตรียมพร้อมสำหรับสัปดาห์หน้า
  • ทำงานเขียนเรื่อง "ความเชื่อ" ให้เสร็จ
  • ออกแบบเสื้อยืดที่จะบ่งบอกถึงตัวเอง

English This week in English class the children worked on building their inferencing skills. The children were required to look at various slides and quotes and then respond to the inferencing questions relating to those slides and quotes. In addition the children received a list of 100 fun indoor activities that they could choose from to build various skills. Term 3 Wb 17th May

This week we all had our photographs taken. สัปดาห์นี้เรา ได้ถ่ายภาพนักเรียน ทุกคน We have been saying a final thank you to our PYPX mentors Ms Phibz, Ms Marie and Mr Kane. เราพูดขอบคุณเป็นครั้งสุดท้ายต่อครูที่ปรึกษาของนิทรรศการจบการศึกษาชั้นประถมซึ่งได้แก่ มิสฟิบส์, มิสมารีย์และมิสเตอร์เคน   Congratulations to Nadech for completing our Tables Challenge ขอแสดงความยินดีกับณเดชน์ที่ท่องแม่สูตรคูณสำเร็จครบ 12 แม่. The Science of Gardening

Term 3 Week 1 : The Science of Gardening This week we have been excitedly planning how to get the school vegetable garden back into a productive state. We’re tying this into our unit of inquiry on scientific developments. Central Idea : Scientific knowledge is constantly evolving and has an impact on people's lives. During this inquiry students are each taking on various aspects of developing our school vegetable patch. They are forming scientific questions related to the garden and applying a simple form of the scientific process. 1. Ask a question 2. Predict an answer. 3. Create a test to find the answer. (observe, measure, compare) 4. Share the findings. The biggest question on our minds so far is how to keep the soil watered when we are away over the holidays.
