Welcome back to the start of Term 3. This week we welcome a new student called Leo.

PYPX and Party 

โครงงานชั้นประถมและงานเลี้ยงฉลอง

                   

It was great to see you all at the PYP Exhibition in the final week of Term 2. We were very proud  of the children who showed how they could be organised, co-operative and research a topic which is important for all of us both today and in the future. This week, we have been reflecting on the process regarding what went well and what we might do differently if we were to do it again. We will also be planning some form of at school celebration event which may well be a Pizza Party!

Student Led Conferences

We really enjoyed the Student Led Conferences where your children were able to share their learning with you. Do remember, that our portfolios are online and your child can give you regular updates whenever you wish. We are starting the process of writing our written reports and parents will be invited to a face to face consultation before the end of term.

T shirts

The children have designed and made a T shirt that reflects themselves. They are preparing a fashion show which will also have a commentary explaining the reasons for their design choices. We will share this learning with you shortly.

On Thursday' PY held a special assembly where certificates were distributed for achievement and success during term 2.

Maths and English Assessments next Week!

External testing for Year 2-9 - Next week (Week 2) มีการทดสอบนักเรียน(ภายนอก) สำหรับนักเรียนชั้น Y2-9

Next week, Year 2-9 will be doing GL testing in Maths and English. What parents need to know is:

สัปดาห์หน้า นักเรียนชั้นเยียร์ 2-9 จะทำการทดสอบ GL test ในวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ และ ภาษาอังกฤษ สิ่งที่ผู้ปกครองต้องรับทราบคือ

• All learners will need a set of headphones for these assessments. Children should bring in their own headphones from home to avoid sharing headphones during this time. 

นักเรียนทุกคนจะต้องหูฟังสำหรับการทดสอบนี้ นักเรียนจะต้องนำหูฟังมาจากที่บ้าน

• All learners will need access to a laptop for these assessments *(If you do not have a laptop please notify your child’s teacher so we can try to find one for your child to use on testing days. We have a very limited number of available devices to lend out during testing week so please remember to bring your laptops on testing days.)

            PSPE

• Make an exercise routine to music and be ready to share it with the class when you return 

Do choose to exercise a range of body parts and make it as much fun as you can.

ทำกิจวัตรการออกกำลังกายเป็นเพลงและพร้อมที่จะแบ่งปันกับชั้นเรียนเมื่อนักเรียนกลับมา

Photography

• Take a series of photographs of your home and surroundings. Choose at least 10 and put these into a slideshow. You could add a soundtrack. You may choose whether

           or not to include people.

Remember our talk about asking for permission.
