Term 2 , Week 9



A really great start to our blog this week. The Student Council led a PY assembly on Thursday where we celebrated lots of forms of success at UDIS. 

สภานักเรียนได้จัดกิจกรรมชุมนุมเพื่อฉลองความสำเร็จในวันพฤหัสบดีของสัปดาห์นี้.


Earlier this term three Y5/6 students took part in the 6th Academic Skills Competition and Inventions for Private School Students for the Academic Year 2021. The competitions were held on on 22-23 January 2022.


ช่วงต้นเทอมนักเรียนชั้นเยียร์ 5/6 ได้เข้าร่วมแข่งขันทักษะวิชาการของโรงเรียนเอกชนปี 2564 ในวันที่ 22-23 มกราคม  2565 ที่ผ่านมา


Daiki participated in Fast Maths and was awarded a gold medal.

ไดกิเข้าแข่งขันรายการ คณิตคิดเร็ว และได้รางวัลเหรียญทอง


Matthew participated in The Spelling Bee and received a silver medal.
แมทธิว เข้าแข่งขันรายการ สะกดคำภาษาอังกฤษ ได้รางวัลเหรียญเงิน

Troy participated in The Impromptu Speech Competition. 
ทรอยเข้าแข่งขันรายการ พูดสุนทรพจน์ภาษาอังกฤษ ได้รางวัลเข้าร่วม

Swimming classes

These have restarted again. We are delighted that our pool is fully operational and Y5/6 can resume their regular swimming lessons on Wednesdays.


เราเริ่มเรียนว่ายน้ำอีกครั้ง สระว่ายน้ำของเราเปิดให้บริการเต็มรูปแบบ และ Y5/6 สามารถกลับมาเรียนว่ายน้ำตามปกติได้ในวันพุธ




Awards were made to two students for their learning at UDIS

Mark received the most improved student
มาร์คได้รางวัลรับนักเรียนที่พัฒนามากที่สุด
Troy received the award for hardest worker. 
ทรอยได้รับรางวัลนักเรียนที่ตั้งใจเรียนมากที่สุด

Part of the assembly was a dance competition. 
ส่วนหนึ่งของกิจกรรมชุมนุมคือการเต้น


Nadech and Mark both won prizes for their great dancing.

Another two students have completed our Multiplication challenge. Well done Matthew and Viktoria!

Upcycle your bottle caps ฝาขวดพลาสติก
Please help Y5/6 Exhibition by saving all your bottle caps. Caps can be metal or plastic. You will see these boxes around the school - EY, PY, MY where you can just drop the cap right in.

Free Football Camp Trial ทดลองเล่นฟุตบอลแคมป์ฟรี
We are pleased to announce that the Nongbua Pitchaya FC will provide a free football training session for our learners next Thursday, March 24, 2022 after school from 14.45 until approximately 16:45. 

เรามีความยินดีที่จะประกาศว่า หนองบัว พิชญา เอฟซี จะจัดอบรมฟุตบอลฟรีสำหรับผู้เรียนของเราในวันพฤหัสบดีหน้า 24 มีนาคม 2565 หลังเลิกเรียน ตั้งแต่เวลา 14.45 น. ถึง 16:45 น. โดยประมาณ
 
This is a free event offered to our learners: (We have a limited number of spaces available for each department so it is first come first serve. The maximum number of learners that may attend per department is listed below) *In order to attend this event parents will need to sign their child up through the school office.

Student Led Conferences on the 30th, March  
การประชุมที่นำโดยนักเรียน วันที่ 30 มีนาคม

We are currently in the process of organising these. We are contacting individual parents to make individual appointments, Children may leave with parents after the conference or stay until the end of the school day. These are a great opportunity for your children to celebrate their learning with you.

Our PYPX is fast approaching so. for the next two weeks, the children are expected to be working on their presentation plus a minimum of 20 minutes reading.

We have now reached the end of our school year and survived the challenges of Covid19 restrictions and online learning. It was really great to return to face to face learning on campus. For our final blog, we have asked the children to choose one photograph from this year that they feel is memorable. Term 3 Wb 17th May

This week we all had our photographs taken. สัปดาห์นี้เรา ได้ถ่ายภาพนักเรียน ทุกคน We have been saying a final thank you to our PYPX mentors Ms Phibz, Ms Marie and Mr Kane. เราพูดขอบคุณเป็นครั้งสุดท้ายต่อครูที่ปรึกษาของนิทรรศการจบการศึกษาชั้นประถมซึ่งได้แก่ มิสฟิบส์, มิสมารีย์และมิสเตอร์เคน   Congratulations to Nadech for completing our Tables Challenge ขอแสดงความยินดีกับณเดชน์ที่ท่องแม่สูตรคูณสำเร็จครบ 12 แม่. Our assembly was led by the Student Council and we played some mini games.. กิจกรรมชุมนุมถูกจัดขึ้นโดยนักเรียนจากสภานักเรียนและเราเล่นเกมส์เล็กๆด้วยกัน              We have commenced our preparations for this event. Term 3 Wb 6th June

Our Journey. We are now approaching the final week of our school year. Last week, children shared their learning with you in our 'Journey Through the Eyes of a Child Event.' กิจกรรม การเดินทาง ตอนนี้เราเดินทางมาถึงสัปดาห์สุดท้ายของปีการศึกษานี้ สัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา เด็กๆ แบ่งปันประสบการณืเรียนรู้กับผู้ปกครองในกิจกรรม "การเดินทางผ่านสายตาของผู้เรียน" Assembly This week we held a House Assembly, The children participated in a range of activities.
