Our PY Exhibition is next Tuesday 
โครงงานนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาจะเกิดขึ้นในวันอังคาร

                                 


Only 3 more days to go and the children are working hard on their final preparations and are feeling very excited. Today, the children brought home their special tee-shirt and mask, which they designed themselves to wear on the actual day. The Exhibition Area is developing well. I don't want to say too much and spoil the surprise.

เหลือเพียง 3 นิทรรศการชั้นเรียนประถมก็จะเกิดขึ้น นักเรียนทุกคนต่างทำงานอย่างหนักเพื่อเตรียมพร้อม และวันนี้นักเรียนนำเสื้อเชิตร์และหน้ากากผ้าที่ออกแบบเองกลับบ้านเพื่อใส่ในวันงานและผมเห็นว่าการเตรียมงานนั้นเป็นไปอย่างดีและอยากให้ผู้ปกครองทุกท่านได้เห็นเช่นกัน

On Tuesday we would like Y5/6 students to be at school from 7.50 until 16.00 as our Exhibition is a full day event.

ในวันอังคารเราต้องการให้นักเรียนมาถึงโรงเรียนเวลา 7.50 จนถึง 16.00 เนื่องจากนิทรรศการนั้นจะดำเนินไปทั้งวัน

Parents are special VIP guests. Here is a rundown of our plans for the day,
  • 7.50 Arrival at school. Parents go to the Y5/6 classroom, students to the auditorium.
  • 8.10 approx students, mentors, Y4 and parents will have a short introduction from Ms. Emmi, our school Principal.
  • 8.25 approx Move to the auditorium for our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
  • 8,30-15.00  The Exhibition is open to visitors. Specific viewing times have been allocated.
  • 15.00 - 16.00 Clearing up time. Any parents who are waiting are welcome to join with us at this time if they wish.

  • 15.00 - 16.00 น. เคลียร์เวลา ผู้ปกครองท่านใดที่รออยู่ สามารถเข้าร่วมกับเราได้ในเวลานี้หากต้องการ

We were delighted with the level of independence shown by students in how they shared their learning. Do remember that students have access to their portfolios online and parents may choose to look at them with their child whenever they wish. We appreciate the comments made by parents in their reflection sheets.

PY Assembly 
กิจกรรมชุมนุมนักเรียนชั้นประถม

Y5/6 led the PY assembly on Thursday. We played a game of 'Human' Kahoot' on the theme of Digital Literacy/Safety.
เยียร์ 5/6 เป็นตัวแทนจัดกิจกรรมชุมนุมของสัปดาห์นี้ เราเล่นเกมส์คะฮูทมนุษย์ ใหัวข้อ การใช้สื่อดิจิทัลอย่างปลอดภัย

                      


Mathletics 
การแข่งขันคณิตศาสตร์

During our recent Mathletics event these children received Gold, Silver or Bronze awards for their tremendous effort and achieving high scores. All students received a certificate for participating.

นักเรียนในชั้นเรียนของเราได้รับรางวันเหรียญทอง เหรียญเงิน และเหรียญทองแดง สำหรับการแข่งขันที่ได้คะแนนสูงที่สุด และนักเรียนทุกคนที่เข้าแข่งขันต่างได้รับใบประกาศในฐานะผู้เข้าร่วม

Songkran Celebrations
กิจกรรมวันสงกรานต์

Do remember that students and staff are invited to wear traditional Thai costume/Songkran clothes on Wednesday 6th April.

Year 6 Term 3 Week 6 Blog

English This week in English class the children worked on building their inferencing skills. The children were required to look at various slides and quotes and then respond to the inferencing questions relating to those slides and quotes. In addition the children received a list of 100 fun indoor activities that they could choose from to build various skills. For next week the children will work on reading different articles and will respond to their assigned questions.   Maths   In Maths class this week the children have been working on activities relating to converting decimals, percentages and fractions including word problems. For next week the learners will be working on fun problem solving skills that requires them to solve the maths mysteries. Geography geniuses

This week we have been continuing on with our unit on migration. In order to do this properly we need to know the world map well. We have given a fair amount of time to learning the names of the oceans and continents. The most enjoyable activity was using Google earth to find the places we are learning about.  We even used 'Google Glasses' to watch 3D clips of far off places too. In our English lessons we have been reading about the migration experiences of young people. Our purpose was to do 'active reading'. This means that we have to think, take notes and talk to someone was we read. In this way, we understand the text more deeply. On Wednesday Our P.E teacher came to share his migration experience with us. He is Brazilian and taught us some basic facts about his country. It developed into a whole geography lesson about Brazil. We learned about how big Brazil is! Mr. Xavi told us about the Amazon jungle. we had so many questions to ask him. ...
